Not A Proper Morning.

A proper chill campervan morning. The kind of autumnal, a first thing in the morning feel in the air, knowing that there is heat to come. A steady and sharp half moon sits above my head, in a relatively clear, but hazy sky. As I say a proper chill grabbing at you face and chest. Early morning damp in the air, my first coffee is most welcome, although cooling fast and finished way too quickly. A Cockerel cries, wood pigeon and distant smaller birds. A hint of swirly mist in far off trees. A pair of magpies in the ash chatter. Returning to the road for a few days, so plans scatter and some objects thrown into the van before heading out this morning. It’s once again surprisingly quiet for an early week day. A wee bit of travel eastwards for, as I say, a few days. So the mind is some what torn in various directions, so trying to sit and be still. So hitting the road early so not reflections this morning. Just a wee bit of driving.
